The REAL project (Recognition of Experiential and Accredited Learning) is focused on raising the qualification profile of adult educators through valuing and accrediting their practice based experiential and informal learning without the requirement of further study.
The project which involves key partners across European adult education, is working directly with adult educators in Scotland, Estonia, Romania and the Republic of Ireland in recognising this learning through the development of a toolkit.
The REAL project seminar will take place in Tallinn, Estonia on 7th of November 2014 at Museum of Coastal Folk and is aimed primarily at the European adult education community along with those who have an interest in recognition of prior learning (RPL).
The aims of the seminar are to:
• Raise awareness of the REAL project to those in the European adult education community
• Share information on the progress and outcomes of the project so far
• Allow delegates to try the toolkit for themselves
• Discuss the way forward in Recognising Prior Learning in the sector
The seminar will run for a full day and will be free to attend.
